"They were a lot stiffer for sure, the feel for the puck was a lot different. I knew a few tricks (to stay warm), but guys are just going to have to find the right gear that makes them feel comfortable that'll let them get out there and play a good game."

Mnogi igraci Flejmsa su bili odlicni na ovoj utakmici, ali Kiprusof je zaista delovao nesavladivo.. Ja sam impresioniran..
Mec je trajao znatno duze od obicnog, jer su morali da popravljaju led uz bandu pri svakom prekidu.. I: Ali opet, bio je sjajan Klasik, osecaj je bio sjajan + su Habsi izgubili.. Tj., nisu izgubili, potuceni su..

Hajlajtsi, dakle.. Sta reci jos.. Flejmsi su se ocigledno bolje snasli u ovim uslovima, ali nema sumnje da bi sigurno pobedili i da se igralo u areni. Drzali su pak vise, upravljali njime bolje. Kontrolisali utakmicu. 1/3 je skoro potpuno pripala njima, a u 2/3 su pokazali kakvog golmana imaju. Habsi su usli jace, motivisanije, odlucnije i organizovanije u taj 2. deo igre, ali su odbrane Kiprusofa ulile sigurnost Kalgariju, koji je u drugom delu tog perioda skoro zavrsio potpuno posao..
Treba napomenuti i iskljucenja.. Montreal je igrao mnogo gluplje, napravio vise prekrsaja.. Msm, nisu svi bili glupi, ali nisu svi bas bili ni neophodni. U takvoj situaciji, ne mozete bas da se nadate pobedi, pogotovo sto su domaci bili odlicni u PP-u, a prvi (i najvazniji) gol su dali u situaciji 5 na 3. SH gol Babchuka da ne pominjem. Mada, tu mozda imaju malo opravdanje, jer je bilo ocigledno na obe strane da se pak u PP situacijama ne moze bas dobro kontrolisati (narocito uz ivice leda), te je i mogucnost greske i SH kontre/polukontre veca.
Uz to, videlo se da neki igraci nedostaju odbrani Montreala. Visnevski je igrao sa punom mrezom, poput juniora, i mozda jos nedovoljno spreman, sto je uticalo i na njega. No, mislim da on i nije previse bio na ledu. Mnogo vise od njega je u igri proveo Hamrlik, koji je napravio i 2 iskljucenja. Ja sam imao utisak da taj covek ne silazi sa leda. Ili je verovatnije on bio jedini koji je radio nesto od odbrambenih igraca gostiju.. Generalno gledano, cini mi se da se Habsi defanzivno nisu dobro postavljali. Mozda su to i morali zato sto su gubili, ne mogu bas da uporedim sa pocetkom meca, ali veci deo meca su igrali previsoko i nesimetricno.. I greskica sa pakom je bilo..
No, na posletku, ipak bi mozda bilo pravednije i lepse da pobedu pripisemo odlicnoj igri napada Kalgarija. Gol Burka, 3. za Kalgari, mi je bio posebno lep. Fenomenalno primiren skroz nezgodan pak, i onda pravo, punom brzinom, na mrezu Prajsa, od cijeg puk ceka je znao da je brzi. Bekend i let preko stapa Prajsa, pak u mrezi, 42 000 ljudi u transu..
Btw, navijanje je bilo vrlo fino. Ne toliko tokom same igre (mada je i to bilo dosta bolje u odnosu na utakmice u areni), koliko kod golova, i velikih sansi/odbrana.. Kad cujete onaj huk, to je stvarno nesto sjajno.
Onda imamo i pas Iginle kod 4. gola.. Pas preko noge odbrambenog igraca. Majstor ostaje majstor.

I dobro.. Sta imamo na kraju.. Pa, vatromet (kao i na pocetku meca), i rukovanje igraca..

"The Heritage Classic was, by all accounts, a major success. But it shouldn't have happened.
They mentioned during the Versus broadcast that this was probably the latest the NHL would hold an outdoor game, and for good reason. Calgary and Montreal are both embroiled in highly contentious playoff races, and it was unfair of the NHL to throw them into that type of circus this late in the season. It was, by far, the latest of all the outdoor games the league has held; falling over a month and a half past the Winter Classics and a full four months after the original Heritage Classic.
It's all well and good to run a couple of teams out in a foreign venue with goofy lighting and questionable ice surfaces when there are 40 games left on the schedule, but Calgary's now down to 21, and Montreal has 22 remaining.
These are games that matter, and the massive disruption this can cause to the participating teams' routines probably isn't worth the "uniqueness" of the experience -- at least not when viewed from a distance.
The Flames went from tearing up the Western Conference standings behind games at regular intervals, then took four days off before brutalizing the Habs in front of 41,022 well-lubricated Calgarians. The Canadiens, just four points back of Boston for the division lead, and having already dropped two in a row, then had to try to right the ship with a game on Hoth.
A surprising thing, one that must not have been considered when this event was being planned, is that it's really freaking cold in Calgary in late February. And very windy. And that's going to make the ice terrible. And indeed it was, as crews worked furiously to combat a growing problem in a corner and couldn't even bring Zambonis out for a proper resurfacing out of fear the ice would crack.
Whenever an outdoor game takes place, guys talk about it taking a little while to get used to the atmosphere, and they were doing it in the relative comfort of a balmy 30-something-degree day. The conditions were just brutal for this one, and it made for one hell of an ugly hockey game.
Calgary was able to successfully stick to its systems because its systems are to "jam up the neutral zone," and it was mightily aided by the fact that the puck bounced everywhere. Every player took an extra second to corral what would have been even the flattest of passes on a normal surface. As a result, guys were jumping offsides so often I thought the Habs had been replaced by a team of Blake Wheeler clones. The Habs' reliance on speed and precision was never going to work in a game like this.
And yes, the critics were right. This one just didn't feel as special because we saw a roughly similar event six weeks ago. Even the distinctiveness of the game being played at night was robbed of it by Pittsburgh rain.
Clearly, the intent here wasn't a well-played exhibition of why hockey is our favorite sport. It wasn't to benefit the teams' ongoing playoff pushes. It wasn't to appease Canadian fans who claim they should get a yearly Winter Classic as well. And by burying the game on Versus opposite the NBA All-Star Game, and on the same day as the Daytona 500, it wasn't to draw in casual fans."

Ma stvarno je bilo sjajno bre..
Nije bilo uopste nezanimljivo to sto je jedan tim gubio sa 3-4 razlike..

Gledao sam prve dve trecine, onda sam resio da spavam.

Zapad je bolji od istoka ovih godina, nazalost.

Ja nisam mogao da vjerujem u kojem je stanju led bio.Stvarno teski ocaj.Pak je bilo jako tesko kontrolisati,ali su se igraci u dobroj mjeri prilagodili.
