Sa Sharom ce bitit zanimljivo tek za par godina, kad oslabi sut.

Valjda je diskretno trazeno da Lu ne igra na AS,slicna stvar se prica za Zetterberga.Meni je zao sto Edlera nema,on je stvarno zasluzio,ali odmor ce dobro doci.

Kapiteni: Not only have Eric Staal and Nicklas Lidstrom been put in charge of picking the NHL's all-star teams, they'll also play a major role in determining whether the league's format change is a success.

The two soft-spoken captains will be front and centre when the teams are selected in a live television event a couple nights before the Jan. 30 game at RBC Center in Raleigh, N.C.

He and Staal will also have some assistance during the draft in the form of two alternate captains. Those players are expected to be announced within the next week and could possibly include Crosby.

"I'll be there if I can be there and I still haven't ruled out being there," he (Crosby) told reporters in Pittsburgh on Tuesday. "Hopefully in the next few days, things get better. There's a slight chance I can still be back for that."

The only rules governing the draft are that goaltenders must be off the board after each team's 10th pick and defensemen have to be gone by the 15th selections. The participants are just as curious as fans to see how it turns out.

Lidstrom has been selected to 12 all-star teams during his Hall of Fame career and made headlines in 2009 when he skipped the game in Montreal. He was subsequently suspended one game by the NHL.

Healy worked for the players' union back then and was impressed with how well the Red Wings captain handled the situation.

"Lidstrom has never been about himself," said Healy. "A couple years ago when they had the all-star game and he chose to go to his son's hockey game and they suspended him, he didn't care. He actually didn't even want the PA to grieve it: 'Nope, I'm fine, I made the decision, I'm going to the hockey game and I'll lose a day's pay. My bad.'

"He's totally unselfish. … I can't state this enough — no maintenance, zero, none. Trainer's delight, coach's dream."

In other words, a perfect role model and ideal captain.

"We started to put all these mechanisms in place; like, maybe the final six would be split up into two groups of three. We had all of these different ideas," he said. "So I said to the NHLPA, 'Let's start talking to the players, see if they're even into it before I take this to Gary [Bettman].' And the players were like, 'We're really into it, but you don't have to soften this for us. We're totally want this last pick.'"

The way the players saw it, he said, was that they were all all-stars anyway. Plus, they also appreciated the inherent drama of seeing players plummet down the draft board or end up last picked.

"It's all going to be in fun," said Shanahan. "But there's also going to be an underlying emotion of 'I'll show them' that's been totally absent in all-star games in recent years."

The Calgary Flames and team captain Jarome Iginla would like to inform members of the media and hockey fans that he has been excused by the NHL from participation in the 2011 NHL All-Star Weekend due to the health challenges of his grandmother. The NHL will announce a replacement for Jarome later this afternoon.
"It is always an honor to be a part of the NHL All Star Game but unfortunately I have to decline this year," said Iginla. "I just lost my grandfather in the spring and I have learned that my grandmother is not doing very well. With the way the season goes I don't get too many opportunities to see her, and as much as I was looking forward to being in North Carolina for the All Star Game, I just know that my mind will be elsewhere."
"My grandparents were second parents during my childhood and have been major influences on my life," continued Iginla. "I have been blessed to have them. And so after talking it over with my family I thought it best that I use the break to spend some time with her while I am still able to do so. Thank you."
Iginla has participated in five NHL All-Star Games including the 2002, 2003, 2004, 2008 and 2009 games. Iginla has one goal and two assists along with 18 shots in five NHL All-Star games.

Danny Briere of the Philadelphia Flyers has been added to the game, according to the Flyers. Arthur Staple of Newsday wonders whether a player with a suspension and fine this season should be invited; agree or disagree?

"Neither the Penguins nor either player would comment late Saturday night. However, multiple sources confirmed early Sunday morning that the players' respective injuries will keep them out of the game - though perhaps not off-ice All-Star Weekend activities.
The Penguins are expected to declare Crosby out for the All-Star Game with an official announcement over the next few days. A final decision on Malkin's availability has yet to be determined, but the club considers his chances of playing very slim."

"In previous years, it was a nightmare for the league to try to find a replacement so close to the event because players had already made plans with their families or friends for the break. Choosing from rookies already making the trip to Raleigh makes total sense.
As of Saturday, the league was kicking around how the rookies would be chosen for the game. Would they be part of Friday's fantasy draft, or would the rookies win their way into the game by excelling in Saturday night's skills event? Both are interesting ideas."

On se sigurno nece pojaviti, kao sto sam i ocekivao..
Prvo su rekli da ga nece biti tek nekih 7-10 dana, ali mucak..

Mad, dobro.. Ni ja ne bi rizikovao sa povratkom takvog igraca pre vremena.. Pogotovo sto su Pensi manje-vise u PO.. Nema ni neke prevelike potrebe..

Zato je moja prognoza sredina Februara..

Nije prehladjen, nego ima concussion aka "neko me je udario dok nisam gledao, i sada ne mogu da se sastavim".. Posledica je najverovatnije onog udarca sa Winter Classica.
Inace concussion bi trebalo da znaci da ima potres mozga, ali sada se svi olako sluze ovom recju, da je pitanje da li je stvarno imao potres mozga.. Mozda i jeste, blazi.. Nznm..
